Thirty Days of Gratitude

30 Days of Gratitude…

There really needs to be a couple extra hours each day 😂

Yes, I am aware that today is the 3rd day of November and so by very definition, I am already behind 🥴 We’ll catch up today and hopefully stay on track for the rest of the month 🤞🏻

Last year I started a 30 days of gratitude challenge that I ended up not finishing because I had, at the time, undiagnosed squirrel brain (see THIS page for reference) and I could barely get through the most basic of activities, let alone anything extra. BUT! I am now diagnosed and medicated for it, so hopefully this year will be a little easier to maintain. Feel free to join me in this challenge, either in the comments or on your own blog, just make sure to tag me (or ping back this post) if you do it on your own blog so I can come see and encourage you 😊 I do want to encourage you to try and come up with non-conventional ideas, the point being to find things in your life you don’t normally think to be grateful for. And so, without further adieu, here are my first three entries for the month of November 2021:

Day # 1: I am grateful for my planners. They help keep me on track and make my life run more smoothly. And I get pretty stickers for them every month so I can spend some time every month on myself instead of just using them for functional purposes.

Day # 2: I am grateful for my Bible. It gives me a tangible way to spend time with my Abba Father, learning through it that He loves me more than anything else.

Day # 3: I am grateful for the mess of life. The laundry that never seems to end and the chores that I usually loathe to do. It reminds me of just how blessed I am and helps chores feel less chore-like.

Check back tomorrow for Day # 4!
